Georgia Metal LLC
Georgia Metal LLC was founded in 2018 with the aim of building a modern high-tech plant that would fully supply the market with the amount of rebar that would be sufficient for import substitution of the entire market. The company also has the ambition to be actively represented at the international level. The rolling mill is currently operating in hot testing mode. It is expected that by June 2025 the plant will enter full-scale production. After the plant is fully operational, its annual capacity will be 400 thousand tons of rebar. By the decision of the founders, it is planned to expand the product range and in the near future the construction of an additional line for the production of rebar will begin, along with a steelmaking plant with an electric arc furnace with a capacity of 80 tons/hour. Georgia Metal LLC is located in Zestaponi and currently employs more than 300 people, most of whom are local residents. In order to achieve the best results, we have invited several foreign specialists to our team, who have more than 30 years of work experience in the leading metallurgical plants of the CIS countries. The number of employees is expected to double by the time the steelmaking workshop and additional line for the production of glinula are launched.
